About the Event

Welcome to Sarthak’s launch in the UK.

You might already know Sarthak’s ground-breaking and impactful work in empowering people with disability to build their identity, earn a living, gain respect and above all contribute to the society.

Sarthak’s mind-blowing work got them covered by none other than Kaun Banega Crorepati, India and the founders, Dr. Jitender Agarwal and Dr. Suman Agarwal enthralled the world with their courage and determination infused story.

Living in the UK but thinking about service to our roots, a few of us joined hands and in 2021 set up the UK chapter of Sarthak with an aim to generate funds and support the meaningful work Dr. Agarwal is doing.

Working in the areas of Healthcare, Inclusive Education, Vocational Skills and Employment, Sarthak has so far enabled more than 35,000 people with disabilities become independent. Sarthak a civil society organization, headquartered in Delhi partners with over 500 organizations globally to generate resources for disadvantaged people across India.

We are now building our flagship centre called The Global Resource Centre (GRC), a first-of-its-kind accessible hub in Gurgaon, to address all ‘Childhood to Livelihood’ disability support as well as special needs in later years. The centre will start operations in November 2023 and will give us the capabilities to significantly expand our service realm.

If you want to join the cause and help amplify the positive impact of Sarthak on people living with disabilities in India, then please attend the event and hear Sarthak’s story from none other than Dr. Agarwal himself.

You will also be able to enjoy a scrumptious dinner as well as an exhilarating performance by the London based music band, Shoonya!
