In 2004, Dr. Jitender Aggarwal's life took an unexpected turn when he began losing his vision due to Macular Degeneration of retina. As a practicing dentist, this threatened to end his career. However, instead of surrendering to circumstances, he embraced technology, learned medical transcription, and discovered a new path forward.
Recognizing that many others faced similar challenges without adequate support systems, Dr. Aggarwal founded Sarthak Educational Trust in 2008. His vision was simple yet powerful: to make lives of persons with disabilities "Sarthak" (successful) by empowering them to become masters of their own destiny.
Today, Sarthak UK Chapter continues this legacy, bringing our proven model of empowerment to the United Kingdom. We believe that physical limitations should never define one's potential, and we're committed to creating an inclusive society where every individual can thrive.
